Coaching Staff
Bill Ridge is the Director/Owner of Canyon Creek Gymnastics & Tumbling. Bill has been coaching gymnastics for the past 18 years. His coaching techniques focus not only on the proper development of gymnastics skills, but also the building of character and self-esteem in the athlete. His passion for the sport has led many athletes to reach and often surpass their goals, gaining confidence and pride in their abilities along the way. He specializes in the training of tumbling skills at all levels, through knowledge and experience. As a competitive team coach, he has trained many athletes to successes at the state, regional, and national level.
He is certified by USA Gymnastics as a Skill Evaluator. He is also Safety Certified by the USA Gymnastics National Safety Association and is CPR & First Aid certified. He holds Certifications for Levels I & II in the Professional Development Program from USA Gymnastics. He was also a certified gymnastics judge.
Debbie Ridge is the Director/Owner of Canyon Creek Gymnastics & Tumbling. She believes that the sport of gymnastics is not only the accomplishment of physical goals, but also one that teaches many values as well. Her dedication and love for gymnastics is carried into her classes as she teaches each of the four Olympic events (floor exercise, balance beam, uneven bars, and vault) that make up the sport. Debbie has been involved in gymnastics, either as a gymnast or coach for over 20 years. She is certified by USA Gymnastics as a Skill Evaluator. She is also Safety Certified by the USA Gymnastics National Safety Association and holds a Level I Certification in the Professional Development Program from USA Gymnastics. Debbie was a certified gymnastics judge for over five years.
David Zaragoza
Assistant Director, Tumbling Director, Recreational Class Coach, Cheer Coach
David has been tumbling since the age of 13. In 1998, he joined the cheer team of SWT in San Marcos, TX. During this time he was also an instructor for the Universal Cheerleading Association where he taught cheer camps. He then became a member of TVCC which won Nationals in 2001. Attending college at UNT, he participated in the cheer team which won the NCA Collegiate Championship in 2002. He graduated from UNT with a major in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. David has been coaching cheerleading and tumbling for 12 years, during which time he has coached many National and Regional cheerleading squads. He is certified by USASF in levels 1-5 in Tumbling and levels 2-5 in Basket tosses and Stunting. He is also Safety Certified by USA Gymnastics. In 2006, he was named CGA Coach of the Year. David keeps his classes fun while remaining focused on technique and form.

Patricia has been involved with gymnastics for 15 years. She is a past State Champion. Patricia also has the honor of being one of the few gymnasts in the country to get a perfect 10.0 on a floor routine. As well as being an accomplished gymnast, she is also a perfectionist in her coaching techniques. Patricia is also very gifted as a choreographer. She has choreographed floor and beam routines that have taken first place at USAG Junior Olympic meets. Safety Certified by the United States Gymnastics Association.
Amanda White
Director of TAAF Program & Friday Night Out, Team Coach, Recreational Class Coach. Mom & Tot Open Gym
Amanda White is a team coach here at Canyon Creek , and the head of the TAAF team. She strives for achieving fun while teaching disciple within the sport and respect in all areas of life. She teaches all four Olympic events for classes as well as competitve level gymnast. She has been in the sport of gymnastics since 1987, as a gymnast which in turn brought her into coaching in 1999. Amanda is a member of the USAG organization and is Safety certified.

Natalie Oliver

Natalie Oliver teaches pre-school classes, 3, 4 and 5 year olds Natalie has been through CCGT's training program. She has taken both dance and gymnastics classes since the age of 3.While in junior high she started cheerleading which continued on to Berkner high school. She currently is a senior at Berkner and is part of the Berkner Bandoleras. She is the 2009-10 poster girl. Natalie believes staying fit is important for children while having fun.
