Three Scholarship Opportunities for School Cheerleaders
1. If your student is a recognized honor student having a 3.7 grade point average or higher and is on a Freshman, JV or Varsity cheerleading squad during 2008 at his or her school; they are eligible to receive free tumbling at CCGT. To qualify, the student must bring in their report card to CCGT along with proof that they are on the school cheer squad. The free tumble will continue until the next report card is issued. At that time, grades and proof of squad participation will be due again to continue in the scholarship program.

2. If your student is on a Freshman, JV or Varsity Cheerleading squad during 2008 and is the Captain of their squad, they are eligible for a 100 % scholarship for a Tumbling Class at CCGT. The scholarship will remain in place as long as they are Captain of the squad. Athlete will need to provide a letter from their Cheer Coach verifying that they are Captain of the squad on a monthly basis. The letter will be dated and due between the 25th and 31st of each month prior to the scholarship month.

3. If your student is on a Freshman, JV or Varsity Cheerleading squad during 2008 and is the Co-Captain of their squad, they are eligible for a 50% scholarship of tuition for a Tumbling Class. The scholarship will remain in place as long as they are a Co-Captain of the squad. Athlete will need to provide a letter from their Cheer Coach verifying that they are Co-Captain of the squad on a monthly basis. The letter will be dated and due between the 25th and 31st of each month prior to the scholarship month.
After Try-Outs for 2009 season, if you are not a Captain or Co-Captain you are no longer eligible unless you qualify for the 1st scholarship mentioned above. The new captain and co-captain will then be eligible for the scholarship program.
